Winter Wonderland

Stay Warm

by Susan DaffronProtected by Copyscape. Do not copy.

This weekend is the Winter Carnival, Sandpoint's antidote to cabin fever. Schweitzer will have fireworks, canines will pull kegs in the alley next to Eichardt’s Pub, and there will be chili and fudge contests.

Everyone should make a special effort to stay warm out there this year because it is COLD. This winter, whenever we've seen the sun, it has been bitterly cold. If there's no sun, that means it's warm enough to snow. Today it's sunny, so it's a whopping 5 degrees or something outside. Even my dogs are grumpy about it.

In more administrative news, we've reorganized the Sandpoint Insider site, so it's easier to find articles from back issues. In the left-side navigation and at bottom of the home page, you also can see which are the most recent and the most popular articles. If you have still questions about Sandpoint, please do feel free to ask them on our forum.
